    Cultural Skills Class: Applique beading techniques

    During this class, participants will have the opportunity to practice applique beading techniques, develop skills, and plan applique projects. Materials for this class will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Registration is requested at [email protected].

    During this class, participants will work on planning, hemming, fringing and simple applique for shawls. Particpants should provide their own shawl fabric and fringe.     Master Apprentice Immersion Potawatomi Language Course

    CPN Cultural Heritage Center 1899 S. Gordon Cooper Dr., Shawnee, OK, United States

    An 8-week Master Apprentice Immersion course in the Potawatomi Language will occur at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation's Cultural Heritage Center this summer from May 19 to July 11. The class will be fast paced, and focus on listening and speaking. This class will be in person. Tribal members are invited to attend for part or all of the course.
