Tribal Historic Preservation Office
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tribal Historic Preservation Office operates in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act [Public Law 101-601]. Implementing communal principles, values and protocols, our office works cooperatively with federal, state and municipal agencies, academic institutions and private organizations to appropriately interpret, protect and manage Bodéwadmi cultural sites and collections throughout the country. We also work in conjunction with associated Citizen Potawatomi Nation administrative departments and the Tribal Historic Preservation Offices of all federally recognized Potawatomi tribes in the United States.
