Connection = Community

In 2005, by Executive Order, the Tribal Heritage Project was created to capture the presence and voice of every member of our community. Two decades later, the Connection = Community project is the next phase of this oral history endeavor, expanding our interview capabilities beyond our Shawnee-Oklahoma borders. All interviews are conducted virtually, with user-friendly prompts and a CHC-provided technology package, to make the process easy and enjoyable.
