The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center exists to preserve Potawatomi culture and educates the community on Potawatomi history, traditions, art and language through culturally relevant programs.

The CHC regularly hosts classes with step-by-step instructions in regalia, hand drum making and more as well as frequent powwow dance lessons and educational work parties at the CPN community garden, Gtegemen (We Grow It). The CPN Language Department leads language courses for beginners, intermediate and storytelling events to share Potawatomi oral traditions.

CHC’s programming engages Potawatomi youth, adults and elders to preserve the Tribe’s language and traditions for generations to come. Check out the link below to stay up to date on upcoming CHC workshops and events.
