    All CPN veterans and their family are invited to join us on our CPN Veteran parade trailer. Bring your lawn chair, if you have one, or we will have extras if you don’t, and join us in the biggest and most fun parade of the year. You won’t regret it. The parade begins at 10 a.m., but they ask that we line up at 8:45 a.m. But you get to join us any time before 9:50 a.m. The parade will begin at the Seminole Nation Museum on Wewoka Avenue. We hope to see you there.

    This training, provided by the Citizen Potawatomi Community Development Corporation and First Peoples Fund, is a free two-day workshop for emerging and seasoned Native artists designed to teach them how to navigate the arts industry and be successful entrepreneurs. Artists will learn how to identify their vision & values, plan a calendar, market and price their work, develop a business plan, engage with the community and assess their leadership skills. They will also have the opportunity to present their artwork in a showcase and elevator pitch. 

  • Creating a Potawatomi Cookbook

    A presentation by Niganbekwek | Kim Nootbaar, moderated by Czarina Thompson, about the process of collecting and assembling recipes for Kim's cookbook, "Nokmes Nwij Wjanda: I am cooking with my Grandmother." There will also be a recipe tasting. Participants are welcome to share a recipe and memories of their own.
